VINTAGE FRENCH GOLDFISH PRINT

This vintage French educational print features the goldfish. It's unusual for us to see this common pet in its natural environment, but it is illustrated here on the left, with the cross section of the fish on the right. These educational charts are double sided, so the reverse features the grasshopper.

These charts were originally used in schools for educational purposes in biology lessons, today they have become pieces of art in their own right. Sought after by interior designers to add a vintage touch to any environment.

Published by Rossignol in the 1950s it comes with signs of age, including some small tears around the edge and watermarks, but we think it adds to its vintage charm.
