BLUE WHALE WALL CHART

This illustration was originally produced as an educational wall chart in the 1800s, however now it is reproduced on its own artistic merit. Printed today by the same family using the same process as in the 1950s. It retains the original's colour and detail. 

The wall chart features the male Blue Whale in the sea blowing air at the surface of the water, with the female whale suckling its young. The skeleton is beautifully shown in comparison to an elephant which give us a sense of its scale. 

Paper mounted on canvas and fitted with wooden rods, nylon cord and fabric tie. Wall mounts not included.
